FAD Magazine London Design Biennale highlights

“At the far end of a corridor, Beatie Wolfe presents a sonic self-portrait with rows of vintage telephones each sharing insights into the artist’s memories, hopes, fears and dreams through recordings of conversations fed from a custom-made ‘thinking-cap’. The installation not only evokes strong emotional responses – at least one teenage visitor was moved to tears – it also playfully illustrates which parts of the brain are involved in storing different types of data – all without the technology itself stealing the show.” FAD magazine
